Jsem zpátky - I am back

| Po téměř dvoutýdenní odmlce jsou „Názory“ zpátky. Strávil jsem jeden týden v Bruselu a několika dalších belgických městech, kde jsem se těšil ze společnosti své sestry a z nádherného časně podzimního počasí. Z Washingtonu jsem „unikl“ asi 24 hodin před tím, než město zasáhly zbytky hurikánu Isabel. (O den později z oblasti Washingtonu nic nelétalo.) Takže zatímco já jsem odpočíval v teplém podzimním slunci v Belgii, moji přátelé ve Washingtonu museli uklízet po tropické bouři.
Ačkoliv jsem se vrátil už minulou středu, nějakou chvíli mi trvalo přizpůsobit se „normálnímu“ rozvrhu probuzení se – odchodu do práce – návratu domů – odchodu do postele. A o víkendu jsem toho moc nedělal kvůli jedné slavnostní události. Počínaje dneškem jsem ale připraven na další blogování. Vy taky? :-) |
After almost two weeks of silence, “Opinions” are back. I spent a week in Brussels and few other Belgian cities enjoying the company of my sister and the wonderful early autumn weather. I “escaped” Washington about 24 hours before the remnants of the hurricane Isabel hit the city. (A day later there were no flights from the Washington Metro area.) So while I basked in a warm autumn sun in Belgium, my friends in Washington had to clean up after the tropical storm moved further north.
Although I came back last Wednesday, it took me some time to adjust to the “regular” schedule of waking up – going to the office – coming home – going to bed. Plus I did not do much over the weekend because of a certain festive event. But, starting today, I’m ready for more blogging. Are you? :-) |
